In April 2020, the Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Professions (ACEhp) began a weekly series of webinars called "CPD Pulse Points." In each session, Chitra Subramanian, former ACEhp president, has a conversation with a guest about a topic relevant to health care continuing professional development (CPD) today. Access is free for ACEhp members. Non-members can attend the live sessions or purchase a recording for $5. Each session is recorded and made available for learners who are unable to attend the live meeting, so if any of the sessions sound interesting to you, they are available for viewing in full.

Due to scheduling issues, most of the May 2021 CPD Pulse Points sessions were canceled or postponed until June. There was a single session held the last week of May, and it was a conversation about the paths we take to become leaders and experts in the field of health care CPD.

• 1) There is no one path to expertise in health care CPD accreditation. We learn by doing the work. There are so many different types of organizations that we all become experts by following our own paths
• 2) Becoming a leader in health care CPD is about more than achieving some specific job title. It is about the relationships we build with others who work in our field and the roles we play in developing the profession of health care CPD professional
• 3) Our field thrives on networking. The reason I love what I do is because we don't compete over the little things such as how we handle our processes for addressing relevant financial relationships. Networking is how we help each other be the best at what we do and how we become experts and leaders in the field
